Conceptual Design usually commences with site investigations and discussions in regards to the client’s initial project brief. Aesthetic, functional, environmental and philosophical considerations are then examined and considered within the context of the site and brief for the design. This process is followed closely by an analysis of the impact of the Council and other Authorities’ planning requirements for the site. At this juncture, the design process commences, either with a written feasibility study or with Conceptual design sketches that investigate preliminary ideas for the project. |
