As we suddenly embark on a new decade, Liquid has decided to take the plunge and launch into the world of multimedia news and commentary. With thoughts-a-plenty buzzing around this office - whether architecturally-intelligent observation or perhaps just to satisfy our inability to get particular bickies off our minds Ð we thought it particularly apt to deem ourselves Bloggers. Despite the occasional irrelevant banter, we have aimed to appeal to your architectural interests, both in current happenings in the world of design and the architectural endeavours of the staff here at Liquid.

With students on staff, the blog will offer a showcase of their projects and their fresh perspective on today's design practices as their education progresses. Meanwhile, Melonie has embarked on her own educational journey, winning the Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship and thus sharing her thoughts on the teaching of construction at universities across the globe. And for the design-savvy, interest stories of international and local scale will keep you up to date on the worldÕs built environment and the arts.
