Michael Ford

Michael is currently studying at UTS, and will complete the B. Design in Architecture degree in 2010. In 2008 he participated and exhibited in 'Even Better Then the Real Thing', the UTS end of year exhibition curated by Dr Sam Spurr.

Michael's present architectural interests are focused on strategies for architecture in providing solutions for global issues, ranging from emergency housing to investigations into nomadic-style housing. He is also passionate about looking at ways to reduce the impact of populations on various ecologies, and how the materials and resources in the existing built environment may best be reused.

Michael has been working with Liquid Architecture since June 2009.

Stephanie Hall

Stephanie is currently undertaking a Masters of Planning at the Built Environment Faculty at UNSW. After being awarded First Class Honours for the Bachelor of Design at Sydney University, Stephanie spent two years working with a commercial firm in Atlanta, Georgia as an Intern Architect and Project Manager, undertaking educational and health projects.

Through extensive travel across the United States, Stephanie has developed an interest in how government decisions can affect development on a local community scale, as well as what factors contribute to creating sustinable, livable cities.

Stephanie worked with Liquid Architecture during her work experience year in 2005, and has recommenced work with Liquid since her return from the US in December 2009.

Michele Low

Michele is studying the Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney. Last year she was awarded a highly sought-after global design scholarship from The British Council, providing her with the opportunity to work closely with Australian and international architects, urban planners, designers, visual artists and film-makers in the United Kingdom.

Michele has travelled extensively including time living in New York and London, which broadened her interests in small scale architecture and housing interventions in densely populated cities.

Since 2008, Michele has been teaching a Building Information Modelling (BIM) software course to registered architects and builders. She is also a member of Architects Without Frontiers and Emergency Architects Australia.

Michele has been working with Liquid Architecture since March 2010.
